Pebbles and Bam Bam are two month old American Pit Bull siblings that were found chained to a fence together at the apartment complex on Freeman ST. Pebbles is the tan and white female while Bam Bam is the solid black male. After beginning in May, construction of Arthur and Tina Kunzman’s pizzeria is finally nearing the end. The new McLeroy Building, owned by city attorney Jim McLeroy, on Main Street is almost completed. Arturo’s Wood Oven Pizza on the ground floor will be leased with apartments and a rooftop deck above. Changes have come to a number of restaurants in Sulphur Springs which include Chicken Express, Burger King, the new Roma’s Italian Restaurant, and San Remo’s. Student Council’s “Love Week” Successfull

Throughout this week, the Sulphur Springs Student Council has had a Wall of Hearts just outside of the Conference Center on the SSHS campus. The project began Monday November 15, 2015 and is expected to go through to Friday November 20, 2015. Peanut Butter is a six weeks old  Domestic Short Hair house cat. Her unusual name comes from the color of her coat. The people who found her dropped her off at the Bright Star Clinic yesterday November 17, 2015. “She was found by herself by the road on College Street,” Animal Shelter Officer Barbi Blanch said. “So we picked her up and brought her here. *Update* Burger Grind Grinds to a Halt

Burger Grind on Main ST has closed its doors for good. Burger Grind continues to see success in Tyler where the restaurant was first established. Its Sulphur Springs location, however, saw little to no service in the long run. According to Burger Grind owner Dennis Moreau, the Sulphur Springs location saw only a small lunch crowd and an even smaller crowd at dinner. The Sulphur Springs location was closed and a second location is opening in Tyler. The new  location will help satisfy the demand in Tyler.

Blaise is a female five month old lab/spaniel mix. She is very friendly and very energetic. She was found at Helm Lane Apartments. “The call came in that originally someone had moved out of the apartments and abandoned the dog,” Animal Shelter Officer Barbi Blanch said. “As it turned out, nobody had abandoned it, somebody had just tied it up to a grill out at the apartments.” The management at Helm Lane Apartments called the Animal Shelter after it was confirmed not to have belonged to any previous tenant. The Pink Snow Cone Stand will be relocating tomorrow November 10, 2015 to an unreleased location. It will continue business next year, marking 22 years of snow cones in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Twinkie is a cream colored domestic short-haired cat at three to four months old. He was found at the Animal Shelter accompanied by a solid black cat of equal age and size who had wandered into the neighboring Street Department building.
