The Lady Cats’ softball team begins practice Friday (January 19). They have four scrimmages scheduled and three of them are at home. The first scrimmage, at home, comes up on January 30. Ten Lady Cats Named to All-District Softball Team
Ten members of the Lady Cats’ softball team were chosen for the All-District Team including two who got superlatives. Sophomore left fielder Sadie Stroud was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year and sophomore shortstop Kelsey Wallace was named Defensive Player of the Year. The Lady Cats’ softball team had their season end as Lovejoy won 12-4 at Lady Cat Park to win the bi-district series 2 games to zero.
