The Lady Cats’ softball team earned a split of two games in an Allen tournament Friday with an afternoon thumping of Dallas W.T. White, 13-4. Earlier Friday, the Lady Cats lost to Rowlett, 7-6. Against W.T. White, the Lady Cats hammered out 18 hits and scored 3 runs in the first inning, 4 more in the second, 1 in the third and 5 more in the fourth. Bailey Haggerty threw shutout ball for 4 innings striking out 4. Alyssa Abron and Macee Hollins led the hit parade with 3 hits apiece. Sadie Stroud drive home 3 runs and Alli Fite and Hollins had 2 RBI’s. With the wins over Frisco Liberty and McKinney North Thursday, the Lady Cats now have won 3 and lost 1 I the Allen tournament. They will play Sherman Saturday morning starting at 11 a.m. The Lady Cats now have a 7-2 season record.
