Wildcats Basketball Gets Hard-Fought Win Versus Longview, 59-51

Men’s basketball held their second-to-last home game in the winter 2021-22 season and emerged victorious, beating Longview 59-51 on Tuesday, Feb. 8.  The first half proved to be tight, as did the entirety of Tuesday’s contest as Sulphur Springs went in to the locker room holding a 22-16 edge over the Lobos.  Scoring opened up for both teams in the third quarter as the Wildcats outpaced Longview 22-17 to head into the final period...

The men’s basketball team fought for four and a half quarters to hand Hallsville their first district loss, but fell short 63-59 in overtime on Tuesday, Jan. 11.
