WILDCATS BASEBALL The Wildcats’ baseball team played five games Friday and Saturday at Lindale and Tyler. The Wildcats defeated Groesbeck but lost to Spring Hill Friday, then downed Van, lost to Tyler Lee in Tyler and then lost to Edgewood Saturday. The Wildcats are now 3-5. Faced with the loss of an entire tournament for the second week in a row, Lady Cats Softball Coach David Carrillo and Athletic Director Greg Owens were able to put together an alternative. The Wildcats’ soccer team matched Pine Tree goal for goal through regulation and overtime only to lose in penalty kicks. After a scoreless first half, the Pirates scored first in the second half.
