Power Outage Affect 400 in Eastern Hopkins County
Sometime around noon Sunday, December 20th, approximately 400 customers of Oncor line maintenance were affected by a power outage. A vehicle striking an electrical service pole is said to be the cause of the outage, according to Oncor. Oncor expected to restore service around 8 p.m. Sunday evening. A 33-year old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Friday night for assaulting and then threatening his girlfriend. Sulphur Springs Police officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the 100 block of South Como in Sulphur Springs at around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
