Fire Damages Home in Dike

Fire did some damage to a one story brick house on County Road 3506 in Dike Wednesday afternoon. The blaze was reported a few minutes before 2 p.m. First fire units reported flames showing as they arrived. Firefighters put the fire out. All those inside the house were able to get out safely. Firefighters stayed on the scene for over four hours.

Citizen Assists Sheriff’s Office in Recovery of Stolen Campers and Trucks

A stolen camper reaped a bumper crop for Hopkins County Sheriff’s Chief Investigator Lewis Tatum. The camper stolen on the east side of the county popped up not far from home.
