The Sulphur Springs Police Department is looking for a 17-year old man in connection with a shooting that occurred late Wednesday. An active arrest warrant has been issued naming Dakota Hunter Parker for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police Sgt. Glenn Epps was sentenced in Eighth District Court Wednesday in connection with three convictions returned against him by a Hopkins County jury in August. District Judge Eddie Northcutt sentenced Epps to 12 months in prison for delivery of cocaine. Two men and a woman from El Dorado, Arkansas face drug charges after Cumby Police Officer Ryan Johnson made a traffic stop on their vehicle at the 110 mile marker of I-30 at around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday. One of the men fled the scene but was soon captured. The smell of marijuana led to a search of the vehicle.
