SS Public Library Beautified by Bright Star Gardeners

Bright Star Garden Club members recently gave a “beauty lift” to the appearance of the Sulphur Springs Public Library.  Club members and volunteers added shrubs, annual blooming plants and landscape rock to seven beds along the walkways leading to the front entrance. Today, April 21, the Bankhead Highway Centennial Celebration stopped at Celebration Plaza to showcase their selection of classic automobiles and to interact with the people of Hopkins County. After she was reported stolen on April 18, Lavern has been returned to the Sulphur Springs Animal Shelter today, April 20. Lavern was part of a Bonded Pair with an Aussie mix named Shirley.
