Bright Star Garden Club members recently gave a “beauty lift” to the appearance of the Sulphur Springs Public Library. Club members and volunteers added shrubs, annual blooming plants and landscape rock to seven beds along the walkways leading to the front entrance. Donations of metal edging, soil, fertilizer and plants were made by Lowe’s, Fix n Feed, Atwoods and Pioneer Memorials. Hands-on help came from Project Chairman Gale Milligan and Toby Harty, Judy Jones, Linda Phillips,
Ricky Russell, Beth Ward, Tina Earls, Susie Faltesek, Al Bass, David Bass and Hillis Bass, and
trustees.
The Bright Star Garden Club meets monthly. For meeting and program information, contact President Hillis Bass at 903-485-8165.
