Tornado Watch Issued for Hopkins County Area
At 12:06 a.m., the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Hopkins, Rains, Van Zandt, Anderson, and Henderson Counties until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. The watch area extends from Hopkins County eastward into southwestern Arkansas and northwestern Louisiana.

Lady Cats Strong Fourth Quarter Overcomes Texas High
After battling Texas High for three quarters, the Lady Cats’ basketball team outscored the Lady Tigers 20-8 in the fourth quarter to clinch a 48-37 win in Wildcats Gym Monday afternoon.
