December 21, 2015 – Monday in 8th Judicial District Court, Trevor Michael Cockerham entered a plea of guilty to improper photography or visual recording and was sentenced to seven years probation. As part of his probation, he has to attend, pay for, and successfully complete the state’s sex offender treatment program. He will not be allowed to be in the presence of children without another adult present.
In December of this year Cockerham videotaped, without the minor’s consent, a child younger than 18 years of age at the time the image was made and with the intent to arouse or gratify his own sexual desire. He was indicted by a Hopkins County Grand Jury in April of this year.
