Shirley Jean Hamilton, age 85, of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born on May 12, 1935 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Frank and Pearl Hukill. She was a Native American artist and also worked as a security peace officer. Shirley was a champion bowler, pool shark, and a cutthroat Skip Bo player. She married James Lincoln Hamilton and he preceded her in death in 2015.
