The Saltillo Lions are area champions after a thrilling 55-51 win over Dodd City Thursday night. The Lions had to stage a big rally in the last two quarters. The Lady Cats’ softball team swept two games on the first day of a Allen tournament Thursday. The Lady Cats downed Frisco Liberty, 4-1 and later topped McKinney North, 9-4.
