Funeral Service for Dennis Ray Jordan will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Dennis passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at his residence.
Dennis was born June 11, 1939, in Mahoney, Texas, to Hester Ray and Mary Lucille Jordan. He married Paula Berry on March 28, 1980. Between them, they had five children: Ray Glenn, Cindy, Darin, Renee and John.
He spent most of his younger years working on the farm in Mahoney, but later became a truck driver in Fort Worth, Texas. After some time, he moved back home at went to work for his brother at Southern Auto Supply where he later retired after 35 plus years.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where he served on many boards and was a member of the Wesleyan Class.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Paula of 46 years, his children and their spouses, Ray Glenn and Robin, Darin and Jamie, Renee and David, and John and Danielle, and his brother, L.B. Jordan, and sister, Vonda Byars.
He is survived by 12 grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Fallon McCool, James Jordan, Kolby Clayton, Seth Maeker, Mason Maeker, Mali Maeker, Jessica Reichle, Danielle Elmore, Jani Rodriguez, Chase Berry, and Jaegar Berry; he is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Cindy.
