Wesley Cooper has announced his candidacy for one of the two places on Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees to be determined in the May 6, 2023, election. He has lived in the SSISD for 12 years. Coach Casey Jeter and his Lady Cats had a solid showing at their first competition in Lindale. Women’s powerlifting placed fifth. Haylee Schultz (114) won her weight class, squatting 250, benching 140 with dead lifts of 315.
