The Wildcats’ powerlifting team, competing against 17 schools and 250 lifters, finished in second place at an Emory Rains meet last Saturday. When the Sulphur Springs Police officer stopped the 1999 Chevy Suburban Monday at 5 p.m., he found $30 in stolen items inside. Those items along with two previous convictions for theft led to the arrest of Mykeya Starlet Payne, 31, of Sulphur Springs.
