A visitation for Mr. Perry Evans will be held Wednesday, October 12, at Tapp Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 13, in the Sulphur Bluff ISD Gymnasium. A traffic stop by Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputy near Auto Zone in Sulphur Springs led to the arrest of Adrian Lopez Ontiveros, Jr., 21, of Mt Vernon. At approximately 6:45 a.m. Monday morning a southbound Ford Mustang crossed into the northbound lane of State Highway 19N striking a North Hopkins Co-op Education bus.
