The Lady Cats’ soccer team knew they would be challenged in a Longview Showcase and they were challenged big time on Thursday. The Woodlands, a Class 6A team, split their team in two, but still managed a strong 9-2 win over the Lady Cats. Parker Tillery, son of Michael and Amanda Tillery, lead trumpeter for the Bright Star Christian School Band was awarded a position in the Four States Honor Concert Band.
