Local Man Arrested for DWI 2nd and Evading Arrest
November 2, 2017 – Hopkins County Deputies were called to a residence on State Highway 19S regarding the safety of an individual. They attempted to make contact with him at his home. However, they were unable to locate him there and while speaking with a family member, they were able to speak with him by phone. UPRA Rodeo Finals Coming to Sulphur Springs Nov. 17-19 at Civic Center
According to Jerry Hill, President of the United Professional Rodeo Association and a NE Texas businessman, the finals of UPRA will again be held in Sulphur Springs at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. SSHS Theatre Arts Presents Annual Fall Musical
The Sulphur Springs High School Drama Department is presenting The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as it’s annual fall musical this year. It’s being staged this weekend at the High School Auditorium. The Wildcats’ golf team shot a 323 and finished second at a rare fall golf tournament at Mount Pleasant Country Club Monday.
