Michael D. Shortt is our Newest Orthopaedic Physician Assistant
Dr. Michael Shortt is an Orthopaedic PA or Physician Assistant at Memorial Clinic. He works with Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Richard Graves. Both come from military backgrounds and they have worked together previously at army bases in El Paso and Fort Hood. Dr. Shortt sees patients who don’t require surgery. Shortt was a guest on KSST’s Good Morning Show with Enola Gay Friday morning.
The Lights of Life Gala Success
On Saturday, January 24, the Great Gatsby Gala was held at the Civic Center from 6 p.m. to 12 in the morning. The goal of the Gala was to raise $250,000 to purchase three telemedicine machines and three flex coils for an MRI machine for the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital and to also purchase an EMS first response vehicle. The Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Board called a May 9 Board Election at a regular meeting Monday night. Two seats are up this time. Incumbents are Dr. Suzanne Thomas Bankston and Dr. David Black.
