The Wildcats’ powerlifting team had a very strong meet at Quitman Saturday. Wildcats Powerlifting Coach Casey Jeter called it the team’s best meet of the year as the Wildcats finished in first place. Sulphur Springs Police were dispatched to the Best Western Motel on Shannon Road in reference to a disturbance around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
