Previous Convictions Elevate Charge for Theft under $2500
When the Sulphur Springs Police officer stopped the 1999 Chevy Suburban Monday at 5 p.m., he found $30 in stolen items inside. Those items along with two previous convictions for theft led to the arrest of Mykeya Starlet Payne, 31, of Sulphur Springs.
