As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, there were only 29 Wildcats Football Season Tickets left for purchase. Things have slowed down in the Conference Center at the High School, but some people did come in Friday morning and purchase tickets. Tickets will remain on sale through 5 p.m. today. John Pearce, a 1965 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, who wrote a book on the early history of Wildcats football, recently published a book called, “Ever Remember”, based on a diary written by his grandmother, Alma Caldwell. She was 16 at the time she wrote about Sulphur Springs’ life from June 1913 to June 1914. The Wildcats’ football team came up short in a bi-district game but they battled to the very end losing to Ennis, 52-47 in Lindale Friday night.
