The Lady Cats’ basketball team scored 61 points to defeat Greenville Friday night, 61-55. At the first of the season, did anyone think the Lady Cats could score 61 without Desi Debase, who is out for the season after knee surgery Friday? “Updated” Symphony Auction the Most Successful in Years

The 2014 Sulphur Springs Symphony League’s Radio and TV Auction Saturday on KSST and Channel 18 was the most successful in years. An estimated total of $14,170 was raised. The funds are used by the Symphony League to help defray costs of the annual Independence Concert on the Square, a spring children’s concert and for an appearance by an opera company at Sulphur Springs Middle School.
