Adult Vacation Bible School at the ROC

ADULT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL        Adult Vacation Bible School will be held on June 26-29 at the Sulphur Springs First Baptist Church ROC on 115 Putman Street.  The 2017 theme is “GALACTIC STARVEYORS”.  The Bible teacher will be J K Crain and the crafts leader will be Melba Crain.  Each session will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  All adults in the community are invited to attend.  There will be a time of fellowship, Bible study refreshments and crafts.

New Faith New Vision has partnered with Shannon Oaks Church to provide a youth seminar for young men (ages 7 to 18). The seminar will teach fundamental characteristics men need to be successful in today’s society. Youth will also be paired with mentors to supplement the material taught in the program throughout the year. The pageant started with a special tribute to Bobby McDonald, for all he did around Hopkins County. The presentation reviewed his accomplishments over the years and significant events of his life. The Emcee for the night, Craig Roberts entertained the audience and kept them laughing all evening. He told many Dairy themed jokes, his favorite being “What did the Mama Cow say to the Baby Cow? Music, comedy and good food are planned at the Reilly Springs Jamboree with an All-American theme.  The show will be opened with the National Anthem sung by Sydney Hawkins.
