The Hallsville Bobcats defeated the Wildcats’ soccer team 5-4 Friday night in a shootout after the two teams ended up tied 1-1 after regulation and overtime. The Saltillo Lions remained unbeaten in district play but it wasn’t easy Tuesday night. The Lions edged by Sulphur Bluff, 43-38. Sulphur Bluff led 9-8 after one quarter and 20-17 at halftime.
