Wildcats Golf Finish 8th in Last Tournament of Fall
The Wildcats’ golf team finished eighth among 16 teams at a tournament Tuesday at Garden Valley Golf Course on I-20 between Van and Lindale. The team shot a 342. Wildcats Golf Coach Chris Owens called the team score a little disappointing and he added the players did not play up to their potential. They shot 322 at a Mount Pleasant tournament last week. A UIL appeal hearing concerning the eligibility of a Sulphur Springs basketball athlete scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed.
