Nell Grubbs was born on September 30, 1943, in Terrell, Texas, to Forest and Ara (Nelson) Reed. She married Richard Grubbs December 25, 1957. Nell was a home maker, worked at Berry Bowl-Café and was a housekeeper for Best Western. Her hobbies included puzzle books, cooking, going to the casino and bingo and bowling leagues.
