The Saltillo Lions and Lady Lions participated in the Ferrel Wright Relays at Alba Golden last Thursday. John Noe Sr., age 82 of Quitman, passed away on Monday, March 26th, 2018 in Quitman,TX. He was born on July 1st, 1935 in Wood County to Hugh Noe and Palma (King) Noe. On February 15, 1963 John married Wanda Cower. Local Woman Arrested for Burglaries in Lamar, Delta Counties; Stolen Property, Meth Found at Time of Arrest
Lamar and Delta County Sheriff’s offices requested the assistance of Hopkins County Investigators and Deputies in an arrest and recovery of stolen property that solved two separate burglaries in those counties. All of the stolen property was recovered including guns, computers, and located methamphetamine, according to Hopkins County Investigator Dennis Findley.
