Bakers Back the Blue is conducted a silent auction Friday at Sulphur Springs City Hall. The event from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. is a fund raiser for the Adopt A Cop program. Tennessee Man Attempts to Evade Local Arrest
A traffic stop on I-30 resulted in an attempt to evade arrest that ended when Dana Lee Porter, 43, of Memphis, Tennessee drove across DPS spike strips. Porter was stopped by local law enforcement for a traffic violation. When asked to step out of his vehicle, he immediately fled the scene in his vehicle.
