Crum Remains in Jail Following Bond Reduction
Aaron Tyler Crum, 26, remains in Hopkins County Jail Thursday afternoon even though his bond for a Felony 1 Murder charge was reduced Wednesday from $1-million to $225,000. Crum is accused in the shooting death of Joshua Paul Cowling. The bond reduction followed an evidence hearing in Eighth Judicial District Court, according to Crum’s attorney Martin Braddy. County Man arrested for Injury to Parents
Hopkins County Deputies responded to a disturbance on County Road 3563 Wednesday afternoon. There they made contact with Billy Shane McCormick, 37 and his parents. The parents stated that McCormick had thrown water on and pushed his father and had grabbed his mother around the throat and pulled her head down causing neck pain.
