Lights Of Life Campaign Funds New Hospital Equipment
Money raised during the 2013-2014 Lights of Life and Gala campaign to benefit Hopkins County Memorial Hospital has already purchased equipment that is being put to use. Funds purchased a bone density machine, ICU beds and a UV room disinfection unit. The money was raised with Mary Bonham, her daughter Rhonda Adair and granddaughter Kristin Potts as co-chairs. Plano Woman Killed in Accident
A 45-year old Plano woman was killed in Hopkins County Thursday afternoon after she was thrown off of a motorcycle she was riding on after a blowout. Dead is Ianetta Maria Crafton. JP Ronny Glossup pronounced her dead at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle, 50-year old Jerrold Crafton was taken by EMS to Hopkins County Memorial Hospital where he is in stable condition.
