The North Hopkins Panthers defeated the Cumby Trojans in a district baseball game, 10-2 Tuesday at North Hopkins. The Panthers got off to a good start with one run in the bottom of the first and five more in the bottom of the second to lead 6-0. Sulphur Bluff topped Saltillo in softball Tuesday 7-4 at Sulphur Bluff. The Lady Bears scored five first inning runs. Saltillo cut the lead to 5-4 after two runs each in the second and third innings. During a routine wellness check provided by CHRITUS Mother Francis Hospital Sulphur Springs, an individual was found not feeling well.  The nurse, provided each week by CHRISTUS, evaluated the individual and called EMS immediately.  EMS and an ambulance both responded.
