The Lady Cats’ soccer team is off to a very solid start for 2016. After two days of a Terrell tournament, the Lady Cats have a season record of 3-1. Wildcats Defeat Greenville for First District Win
The Wildcats’ basketball team claimed their first district win of the year with a 72-65 win at Greenville Friday night. The Wildcats improved to 1-2 in district play and 8-11 for the season. Open Carry Policies For Businesses in Sulphur Springs
After new laws regarding open carry went into effect at the beginning of the year, a number of businesses in Sulphur Springs have adopted new policies regarding open carry. Business such as EZ Mart will allow open carry so long as the weapon remains holstered. Tractor Supply has no policies regarding open carry, but has no issue with open carry. Lady Cats Soccer Wins Pair at Tourney
The Lady Cats’ soccer team opened the regular season with a pair of wins in a Terrell tournament Thursday. Both wins were by shutout. The Lady Cats topped Lindale, 3-0 and then edged by Huntsville, 1-0. The Lady Cats, now 2-0, play host Terrell and Dallas Conrad Friday. The tournament continues Saturday.
