Sulphur Springs ISD Board will meet in regular session Monday at 6 p.m. in the Administration Board Room, 631 Connally Street. January is School Board Appreciation Month and board members will be honored during the public forum time. During the session, the board will take action on a request for maximum class size waiver, and the annual financial and compliance report for 2015. Reports regarding the head start program, civic center renovation, filing dates for the May school board trustee election, and changes to the DAEP placement of high school students will also be heard. In Executive Session, the Board will discuss and consider the Superintendent’s contract extension and compensation following the annual evaluation, a regular January item.
