Lady Cats Basketball Visits Paris On Game Day Friday
The Lady Cats Basketball Team has a non-district game at Paris on this Friday, Nov. 22 game day. There will be a JV game at 4:30 p.m. with the varsity game to follow at around 5:45 p.m. The Lady Cats come into the game with a season record of 2-4. Lady Cats Basketball Coach Brittney Tisdell won her Sulphur Springs’ coaching debut Saturday (November 17). The win came over the coach she replaced, Jeff Chapman, now the head girls’ basketball at Paris. The Lady Cats topped Paris, 37-26. SSISD Board Approves New Teacher Pay Scale, Additional Police Officer; Personnel Changes

Lady Cats Win Pool Play at Edwood Tournament
The Lady Cats’ basketball team swept their way through pool play in an Edgewood tournament Thursday (December 7) defeating Kaufman, 69-28 and Quitman, 75-18. Against Kaufman, the Lady Cats started slowly but still managed to have a 13-11 lead after one quarter.
