Hopkins County United Way Will Have Their Second Report Meeting Tuesday
The Hopkins County United Way will have their second report meeting Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the meeting room at the AgriLife Extension Office off Houston Street. Last week, at the first report meeting, a total of $21,230 was reported, about 13% of the overall goal of $160,000. Last year’s first report meeting netted $10,734. A little more than $15,000 came in at the second report meeting last year.

Hopkins County United Way Begins its’ Fall Campaign
The Hopkins County United Way begins its’ fall campaign with its’ annual Workers Luncheon Wednesday at noon at the Southwest Dairy Museum. Chris Voorheese returns as Campaign Chairman again this year. The annual CEO Luncheon will take place September 24 at noon at The Lodge. Seven report meetings are scheduled. The first will take place on October 7 at the AgriLife Extension Office

The Hopkins United Way will announce the Campaign Chair for the 2014-2015 Campaign at a Board Meeting Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the meeting room at the AgriLife Extension Office.
