Wildcats Team Tennis Season Opener
The Wildcats co-ed Team Tennis Squad opened its’ season Tuesday with a non-district loss at Lindale to Kilgore, 16-3. It was the first match for new Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez. Wildcats Team Tennis Squad Opens This Week
The Wildcats Team Tennis Squad has two matches on the schedule to open the season this week. The schedule calls for the Wildcats to play Kilgore at Lindale beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday and then to travel to Wills Point Thursday. Bright Future For Wildcats Tennis Team
New Wildcats Team Tennis Coach Tony Martinez sees a bright future for the program. He’s very happy with what he saw from players at tennis camp last week. The first day of practice for this Team Tennis season took place Tuesday. Players competed in matches to determine seeding. District play begins before the month is up. Tennis Camp a Success
New Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez had a good turnout as 40 to 45 kids attended the first day of his five-day tennis camp. Tennis Camp Next Week
The last Sulphur Springs ISD sports camp takes place this week. New Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez will have tennis camp Monday through Friday. Camp for younger kids will be in the morning with camp for older ones in the afternoon. Team tennis continues a lengthy home-stand en route to playoff season. In their first home contest of four straight, Coach Martinez and his squad took care of business.
