by Brandon Darrow Christmas and New Year are on the horizon but it seems as though 2017 has just begun. I can’t believe we are only a few weeks away from 2018. Some good and some bad but most of the changes in MG are for the good…like getting a new elementary school, athletic teams going to state tournaments, and success at...
Miller Grove News June 16, 2017
Many things have happened in “The Grove” since my last writing nearly a month ago. May was a busy month and June has been nearly as busy. My garden is in full swing and taking up the majority of my free time but hey, at least it is producing and not being consumed by grasshoppers…yet! After church I had a lunch of chicken and dressing with my family. There are several news items to report this week. Spring is...

Our FFA students did very well at the annual stew and auction that was held on Apr. 1. Advisor Brandon McClure said that the FFA Chapter...

by Brandon Darrow How many of you have your gardens started? Yes, it’s that time if you haven’t already started breaking up the ground and planting yet. I have onions, potatoes, and a few cabbage plants in the ground right now. I’ve seen a few other gardens in the area and they are looking good. Light rains and warmer temperatures are really making my onions look green and lush. Friday, Feb. 17, was a day of reunion for some...
