Enchanted Forest Father Daughter Dance: An Event to Remember

By Savannah Owens The Father Daughter Enchanted Forest dance hosted by the Mother’s Culture Club (MCC) this past Saturday, Feb 3rd, 2018, was packed! Over 300 Dads and daughters attended. There were daughters of all ages, dressed in gorgeous ball gowns and princess dresses. In addition to dancing, the MCC had unicorn rides, photo booths, face painting, tasty snacks, and raffles available. Sky Ranch was there offering a free week for a family camp. The main prize was for a 9 mm Pistol and a “Frozen” themed convert able....

There is a NEW Sponsor for the Shawls of Love Group Stacey Wetzel from CIMA Hospice will be sponsoring the group.  On Monday, February 26th at 10:00 they will have “Blessing of the Shawls”.   The Chaplin from CIMA Hospice will say a prayer over the Shawls and Blankets before they are delivered to the Hospice Patients.

SAFE-T Crisis Center (Sulphur Springs Outreach) is needing Advocates for their Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Programs. SAFE-T will have a training session for Advocates on February 26 at 1:00 PM at the Plaza Conference room in the Memorial Medical Plaza Building.
