On Wednesday July 1, 2020, the Northeast Texas Childrens Museum will host a visit from Spirit the Horse and Barney the Goat from the Road Runner 3R Ranch. Main Street Theater, 227 Main Street, home to the Community Players for over 30 years. Members of the Sulphur Springs Community Players invited the community to pitch in for a fundraising Parking Lot sale held to benefit Main Street Theater. The sale was held on Friday and Saturday June 19 and 20, 2020 at 1421 N. Hillcrest. Local residents brought lots of household furnishings, furniture and home decor items for the sale, and it was priced and arranged by volunteers and members. Dedication of Winnsboro’s Community Garden to Late Councilman, Volunteer

The dedication of a community garden was made on Thursday evening, June 18, 2020, to Mel Mellenberger, a long-time community servant. The community garden, built on property near the rodeo grounds in Winnsboro, was completed earlier this year and first cultivated in March. This is it’s first growing season and it has already produced early crops of greens and now is producing tomatoes, squash and other summer vegetables that the members enjoy growing.
