Lady Cats Win Home Opener
The Lady Cats’ volleyball team won their home opener over Mineola Tuesday night, 3-0 in Wildcats Gym. The score was 25-21, 25-13 and 25-20. The Lady Cats improved to 6-4 for the season. The Lady Cats’ volleyball team lost 2-0 to Prestonwood in the championship game at a Garland tourney Saturday. Earlier the Lady Cats downed Texas High, 2-1. The Wildcats’ team tennis squad played two matches on Thursday in the Sherman-Denison area. Early Thursday, the Wildcats played Denison. Later early afternoon they played Sherman. Both were losses but that does not disappoint Wildcats Team Tennis Coach Tony Martinez.

Ladycats Scrimmage Cumby, Commerce Friday Morning
The Sulphur Springs High School Ladycats Volleyball team scrimmaged against Cumby and Commerce late Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Freshman, JV and Varsity all scrimaged at the same time, with Freshman in the auxilliary gym and JV and Varsity in the main gym. Wildcat Baseball Season Ends
The Wildcats’ baseball season ended Friday night at McKinney Boyd as Prosper defeated the Wildcats, 6-2 to sweep the Regional Semifinal series two games to zero. After the Wildcats fell behind, 3-0, they battled back scoring two runs in the fifth inning. Kade Hudgins double was the inning’s big hit.
