The UIL academic team attended the Whitehouse UIL Invitational this past weekend and returned with the overall sweepstakes trophy. Kerry Wright, incumbent school board member, filed Thursday morning to be placed on the ballot for the May 7, 2016 school board election. Wright is the third incumbent to file in the first two days of filing. February 19th is the deadline for filing for a place on the board.
