The Wildcats’ basketball team tied the school record for wins in a season by defeating Hallsville, 54-45 at Hallsville Tuesday night. The win was the Wildcats 25th of the season. The Saltillo Lions remained unbeaten in district play but it wasn’t easy Tuesday night. The Lions edged by Sulphur Bluff, 43-38. Sulphur Bluff led 9-8 after one quarter and 20-17 at halftime.
