Brashear Man Arrested For Failure to Register as Sex Offender
October 13, 2017 – During an interview with Hopkins County Chief Investigator Charles Humphries, Garrett Matthew Bursby, 22, of Brashear admitted to failure to register as a sex offender. Bursby is charged with Sex Offenders Duty to Register 10 years State Jail Felony and is being held on a $25,000 bond. He is also wanted on a warrant in Bexar County for failure to register.

A search of a 2002 Lexus stopped for a traffic violation led to locating two small green plastic baggies with a white rock substance believed to be crack cocaine inside.
