Santa for Seniors new blanket drive received a warm welcome by those who donated blankets and money. A traffic stop by Hopkins County deputies in the 600 block of Gilmer Street Monday at 6:18 p.m. resulted in the arrest of Roy Freeman Burkham, 59, of Sulphur Springs. Monday morning in Eighth Judicial District Court, Dathan Artemus Durant, 58, was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Possession of Child Pornography, a Felony 2. Janice Kelly Barnes, 53, of Dallas had a defective license plate on vehicle and the Cumby Police officer took notice at the 110 Mile Marker on I-30.
