The board is expected to review and comment on an environmental assessment for Texas Parks and Wildlife that has applied to TCEQ for renewal of a Water Quality Permit to authorize discharge of treated wastewater from the city plant directly to Cooper Lake.

At the last meeting of the Sulphur Springs City Council, the council voted to add $66,000 to the proposed budget to address some of consultant Roger Brooks’ branding ideas.
