The Wildcats’ powerlifting team took first place at the Raise The Bar Invitational in Commerce Saturday. The Wildcats had twelve of thirteen lifters medal and they racked up 60 points. Local Man Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault

Javaron Tyray Ross, 21, was arrested at his Jackson Street address on an Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child warrant. A Sulphur Springs Police officer made the arrest and transported Ross to department offices where he was interviewed by Detectives Bo Fox and David Gilmore. Ross is in Hopkins County Jail held on a $75,000 bond.
