Lady Cat Golf Fifth at Lindale Tournament

The Lady Cats’ golf team finished fifth out of ten teams at a tournament at Hide-A-Way Lake in Lindale Monday. It was their third tournament of the season. The Saltillo Lions’ basketball team is headed to the regional tournament after their regional quarterfinal win over Yantis, 54-44 Tuesday night. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for North Central and Northeast Texas including Hopkins and surrounding counties from 4 p.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. Thursday. Rainfall Amounts of 1-1.5 inches on already saturated grounds will result in rapid runoff that may lead to flooding. A flood watch means that conditions are favorable for heavy rain which may lead to flooding of low lying areas.
